We host Human Literacy workshops in schools

We believe in staying close to teachers and students, spending time in classrooms, understanding the realities on the ground, and building work that is actually useful to the people it's meant to serve.

What makes us human in an AI-driven world?

The conversation around young people and AI is almost entirely focused on one direction: how do we prepare them to use AI tools, enter AI-driven job markets, and navigate an AI-powered world?

We believe that this question is incomplete. The more urgent question is: as AI takes over more cognitive tasks, what does it mean to remain a thinking, feeling, judging human being?

Human Literacy is our answer. A workshop framework built around the capacities that make us irreducibly human and that no AI can replace.

The 3 pillars of Human Literacy

Each pillar addresses a distinct dimension of what it means to remain fully human as AI becomes ever more capable.

🧩
Pillar 01

Cognitive Literacy

Understanding how our brain works and how AI affects it. Students explore attention, memory, critical thinking, and the risks of cognitive offloading. The goal: use AI as an exoskeleton for the mind, not a replacement for it.

Key question
"If AI gives me all the answers, what happens to my ability to think for myself and put in the effort to learn?"
🔍
Pillar 02

Critical Literacy

Developing the ability to question, evaluate, and push back on AI outputs. Students practise identifying bias, detecting manipulation, and forming independent judgements in an age of AI-generated content.

Key question
"How do I spot bias and hallucinations in AI outputs, and develop the judgment to think for myself?"
🤝
Pillar 03

Relational Literacy

Preserving and deepening the uniquely human capacity for empathy, connection, and collaboration. Students explore how AI changes social dynamics and relationships and what it means to truly understand and be understood by another person.

Key question
"How do I protect and deepen real human relationships — and what do I risk losing by preferring a virtual companion over a real one?"
